Eligible Athletes and Selection Criteria
Athletes must meet specific eligibility requirements to participate in the US Gymnastics Olympic Trials 2024.
To be eligible, athletes must:
- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Be at least 16 years of age on December 31, 2024.
- Have competed in a minimum of three international competitions within the past two years.
- Have a minimum score of 56.000 in the all-around at a FIG-sanctioned competition within the past two years.
Selection Process
The selection process for the US Gymnastics Olympic Trials 2024 will be based on the following criteria:
- All-around score at the US Gymnastics Olympic Trials.
- Individual event scores at the US Gymnastics Olympic Trials.
- International competition results within the past two years.
- Training and performance evaluations by the US Gymnastics National Team staff.
The top six all-around finishers at the US Gymnastics Olympic Trials will automatically qualify for the US Olympic Gymnastics Team.
The remaining two members of the team will be selected by the US Gymnastics National Team staff based on the selection criteria listed above.
